I'm fairly addicted to lj, so I look at my friends' page at least 8 times a day normally.
I live in Rehoboth, MA. with my parents. I look forward to the day when I no longer call this little town home. That being said, I would come back here someday to raise a family.
I'm currently unemployed. I was just hired to teach 8th graders in acushnet, massachusetts. I think I'm happy about this. No, it's not my dream job, but it will make me some money until I figure out what I really do want to do.

♥I love summer and thunderstorms.
♥I'm fascinated by the human body and how it works, but never wanted to be a doctor.
♥I am the epitome of romantic.
♥I am forever trying to become thin and wonder if a day will ever come when I might look in the mirror and see beauty in its reflection.
♥I adore country music above any other. But enjoy all types of music.
♥I sing every day. I wish I did more. I wish I wasn't so unsure of my musical abilities.
♥I hated working in groups in elementary school. So when they tell me that the only way to teach is to put kids into investigative groups, I have issues with that.
♥I have never really liked beer, chick drinks are for me.
♥I love christmas, I just wish it was in July instead of December.
♥Given enough time and motivation, I think I could teach myself anything I wanted.
♥Making me feel stupid is the worst thing you could do to insult me.
♥I am overly sensitive and read way too much into things at times.
♥I trust people at their word and am often disappointed.
♥I've tried out for Jeopardy twice and didn't pass the test either time.
♥I want to see the world. I find New England to be stifling at times, but it is all I've ever known.
♥I have a tiny family. My wedding guest turnout will likely be under 20 people of my own flesh and blood.
♥I never learned to swim, but I love the water and do it in my own way. I totally want to take a water aerobics class.
♥I have a brother, he's 21 and wants to be on Broadway someday.
For almost as long as I can remember, my life could be summed up in one word. uneventful. Meeting the love of my life last December changed that partially. I'm just waiting for that one thing to happen for me to push me out of this rut I'm in and into an exciting new direction.
